The weeks

Dates go live each January. Deposits taken now are fully refundable until the schedule is confirmed and hold your child’s place at this year’s price.

Summer 2026 has finished

All seven weeks ran between 29 June and 7 August. The 2027 schedule follows the same shape and is published in January, join the list below and you hear before it goes public.

Inside a week

What the themes cover

Space Science & Engineering

Campers learn what makes space exploration possible and then do it in miniature: rocketry, solar-powered Mars rovers, and a collaborative design for a colony that has to solve the same problems real engineers face. Highest-selling week two years running.

LEGO Robotics & Engineering

Core robotics and engineering through LEGO SPIKE, building and coding creations that move, then challenge activities using motors, gears and Technic elements where the goal is set but the solution is not.

Invention & Engineering

Groundbreaking inventions, how they actually work, and the principles underneath. Campers build guided projects, then take an idea of their own into the makerspace and make it exist.

Light, Science, Art & Illusions

The science of light, colour and perception through experiments that are genuinely striking to look at. Reflection, refraction, and projects that sit between a physics demonstration and an art piece.

Renewable Energy & Engineering

Where energy comes from and the conservation law that governs it. Campers investigate solar and wind generation, then design, build and test their own working models in the makerspace.

3D Print Camp

An afternoon track for ages 8-12. Modelling, slicing, printing, and the design iteration that happens when the first attempt comes off the bed wrong. Shorter sessions, smaller group.

A camp morning

How the three hours run

  1. Sign-in

Doors from 9:20. Name checked against the register, allergies and pick-up person confirmed.

  2. Lesson

The day’s concept, taught properly: short, specific, and immediately useful for what comes next.

  3. Build & experiment

The bulk of the morning. Their own project, tested, adjusted, tested again.

  4. Makerspace & pick-up

Open tinkering and LEGO time, then wrap-up and collection at 12:30 with the day’s build in hand.

Camp questions

What is the cancellation policy?

Email us at least two weeks before the camp starts and 50% of the tuition is refunded. Inside two weeks, no refund is issued. Camps are non-transferable between children or weeks.

Is lunch or aftercare included?

Camps finish at 12:30 and there is no lunch provision. Bring a nut-free snack and a water bottle for the mid-morning break.

My child is 5, or 12.

The main weeks run 6-11 and the 3D Print track 8-12. If your child is just outside that, email us, it usually depends on whether they can work independently for a three-hour morning.

Can they do more than one week?

Yes, and many do. No two weeks share projects, so a child can do the whole summer without repeating anything.

Do you take Scout or school groups in the summer?

Yes, see Group Events for pricing, or Field Trips if you would rather we came to you.
